Assisted Stretching
Move better. Feel less restricted.
Move better. Feel less restricted.
One-on-one assisted stretching focused on improving mobility, reducing stiffness, and helping you move more comfortably. Each session is tailored to your body, your goals, and the areas where you feel most restricted.
Assisted stretching allows you to relax while your therapist guides your body through comfortable ranges of motion and targeted stretches.
Unlike simply stretching on your own, assisted stretching allows us to control positioning, adjust the stretch based on how your body responds, and focus more closely on areas that may be limiting your movement.
Sessions may include passive stretching, active movement, and personalized at-home recommendations based on what we find during your session.
Assisted stretching may be a good fit if you:
Feel stiff or restricted from work or everyday activities
Want to improve flexibility or mobility
Exercise regularly and want to improve recovery
Have specific areas that always seem tight
Spend long periods sitting or working in the same position
Want to move more comfortably during sports, workouts, or daily life
You don't need to already be flexible—or athletic—to benefit from assisted stretching.
Your first session includes more than just stretching. We'll take some extra time to understand how you're currently moving and determine where to focus.
We'll start with: a brief conversation about your goals and areas of restriction, followed by a few simple movement checks.
Then: we'll spend the majority of the appointment working through assisted stretches selected specifically for you.
Before you leave: we'll reassess your movement, discuss what we found, and give you a small number of stretches or mobility techniques you can work on at home.
30-Minute Focused Stretching — $45
Best for targeting a specific area or maintaining progress between appointments.
60-Minute Comprehensive Stretching — $80
More time for multiple areas, broader mobility work, or a more comprehensive session.
Not sure which to choose? We'll recommend the appropriate session length after your first visit based on your goals and what we find.
Wear comfortable, flexible clothing that allows you to move freely. Athletic shorts, leggings, joggers, and T-shirts are all great options.
Unlike a massage appointment, assisted stretching is performed fully clothed.
Some massage sessions may include a few stretches when they're helpful for the area we're working on. Those stretches are used as part of the massage session.
An Assisted Stretching session is different. The entire appointment is dedicated to mobility and includes movement assessment, targeted assisted stretching, reassessment, and personalized recommendations for what you can work on between visits.
Massage focuses primarily on the tissues. Assisted stretching focuses primarily on how you move.
What you do between appointments matters. When appropriate, you'll leave with a few simple stretches or self-release techniques selected specifically for the areas we're working on.
Start with a 45-minute introductory Assisted Stretching session. We'll assess where you're starting, work on the areas that need attention, and help you determine what makes sense going forward.
